1. Who we are

2. What we collect
- Details you give us: your email address and, if you choose, your first name, when you subscribe, join the waitlist, ask for your results by email, or write to us; and the messages you send.
- Answers in our tools: the answers you enter in the BIXLUX X-Factor Finder and the BIXLUX X-Factor Cost Calculator, and the results shown. Results appear without sign-up. We link your answers to your email only if you ask us to email you your results.
- Technical data: browser and device type, pages visited and approximate location from your IP address, collected through cookies and similar technologies as described in the Cookie Policy.
- We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
3. Why we use it
- To show your results and send what you ask for.
- To send BIXLUX Insight and waitlist updates, only if you opted in. You can withdraw at any time.
- To improve the tools and the site, using aggregated answers.
- To keep the site secure and to meet legal obligations.
- For visitors in the EU and UK, our legal bases are your request, your consent (marketing emails and optional cookies),
and our legitimate interest in running and improving the site securely.
4. Who we share it with
Service providers who work for us, in these categories: email delivery and newsletters, form handling and automation, website hosting, and analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies). They may use the data only to provide their service. We do not sell personal data. Some providers are located outside Japan, including in the United States and Europe; we take the measures required by law when data is transferred.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
5. How long we keep it
Subscriber and waitlist details until you unsubscribe or after 24 months without activity. Tool answers and contact messages for up to 24 months, or longer only in anonymised form. Longer where the law requires.
6. Your rights
You may ask us to disclose, correct, delete or stop using your personal data. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to portability, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. Write to [contact email]; we reply without delay.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
7. Marketing emails
We never tick the consent box for you. Every email carries an unsubscribe link.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and relaiable organisational measures to protect your data.
9. Cookies
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select "Remember Me", your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

We update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top.
