BIXLUX · The X-Factor Cost Calculator

What could an unseen X-factor be costing your business?

An X-factor only pays off when the market sees it. The BIXLUX X-Factor Cost Calculator puts a number on the leads, hours and spend that slip away when marketing can't keep up — in about three minutes, with no sign-up.

Which of these is your business not doing yet?

How the number is worked out

The BIXLUX X-Factor Cost Calculator estimates the cost of slow follow-up and manual marketing in three parts, using only the numbers entered above.

  1. Leads that could go quiet: new leads per week × 4.33 weeks × the share that may be lost for each gap ticked. Reply time increases the share for the reply-speed gap. The combined share is capped at 65%.
  2. Their value: those leads × the average value of one client.
  3. Time: owner hours × the value of an owner hour, plus team hours × the cost of a team hour, each × 4.33 weeks.
  4. Spend: monthly marketing software plus agency or freelancer costs.

The total is the sum of these parts. It is an estimate of what a late reply and manual marketing could be costing a business, not a prediction. The lead-response shares draw on published research (MIT/Oldroyd 2007) showing qualification rates fall sharply as reply time grows.
